I have been trying to take my art making seriously as the summer passes by so fast.
I write a little. I draw and paint a little. I do things for friends in graphics areas. I take lots of photos with my digital camera.
I make slide shows with photos of the neighbourhood walkways and gardens, of family events and the gardens of friends.
The last three days I have been under the weather with a fever and what seems like flu. It knocked me down. But now it is time to get back to work because I am better now.
I am coming to grips with the solitude of being retired. Some days I miss the busyness of the schools and the students I left behind in 2005.
I think I have needed this time to reassess just what it is I need to do next.
I know I am at the beginning of something new.
